Who you're buying from
Live On Your Own Land — Legally is written and published by Australian Hub (contact: [email protected]).
The sale itself is processed by Stripe through its Link service, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record). That's why your receipt and card statement may say "Link" or "Sold through Link". Stripe charges and pays the GST, VAT or sales tax that applies in your country; the price you see at checkout includes it.
What you get
- The ebook as two PDF files: an A4 edition (144 pages) and a large-print edition for phones and tablets.
- Instant access: a download page opens straight after payment. Keep the link (it works for a year), and if you lose it, email us and we'll send the files again.
- Nothing is posted to you, and there's no subscription. You pay once.
Using the book
The book is for your own personal use. You can print it and keep copies on your own devices. Please don't share the files or post them online; it's how we keep the price low.
30-day money-back guarantee
If the book doesn't help you, email [email protected] within 30 days of buying it and we'll refund the full price. No forms, no questions. The refund goes back to the card or account you paid with, usually within 5–10 business days.
This guarantee is on top of your rights under consumer law. Nothing in these terms limits the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or your rights under the consumer law of the country you live in. The 30-day guarantee comes on top of any cancellation right you have.
General information, not advice
The book explains Australian planning and building rules as they stood on 4 October 2026, with the sources behind them. It is general information, not legal, planning, financial or building advice for your situation. Rules change, and every council applies them a little differently. Before you buy land, build, or move onto a block, get your council's answer in writing, and for anything big, talk to a conveyancer, solicitor or town planner.
To the extent the law allows, we're not responsible for decisions you make based on the book. This doesn't exclude any liability that can't be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Mistakes and updates
We checked the rules against official sources, but if you find something wrong or out of date, please tell us at [email protected]. We correct the book and say so.
